MOMCo

MOMCo, formerly known as MOPS (mothers of preschoolers), has been serving moms in communities for over 50 years! MOMCo encourages and equips moms at any stage to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in a relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. 

Join us for solid content, free childcare, and adult conversations. Your children will be cared for as we take an opportunity to care for you. We provide a safe place for moms to grow in their motherhood and their relationship with Jesus! This group is open to moms of all ages and meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month throughout the school year (September - May).

Empty Nesters

Empty Nesters is a fun and welcoming group for anyone who is an empty nester and enjoys connecting with others in a relaxed setting. We meet on the first Thursday of each month at various local restaurants for food, fellowship, and great conversation. Whether you’re newly adjusting to an empty nest or have been enjoying this stage of life for years, we’d love for you to join us as we build friendships and share time together.

Our Ladies Lunch Bunch is a wonderful opportunity for women of all ages to enjoy fellowship, conversation, and time together. The group meets on the last Tuesday of each month at various local restaurants, and everyone is welcome to attend. Whether you come regularly or are joining us for the first time, we invite you to pull up a chair, share a meal, and make new connections with other women from our church family.

Life Groups

Our Life Groups are a small gathering of approximately 8-12 adults who meet twice a month. These groups are called “Life Groups” not because they require a lifelong commitment, but because they are centered on doing life together. Children are also welcome and included as part of many groups.  

A typical meeting includes a time of studying God’s Word, often using a guided resource, prayer, and a shared meal or refreshments. Life Groups also regularly participate in service projects and enjoy spending time together in meaningful and fun ways.  

You do not need to be a member of Sunrise Church to join a Life Group. We are people from a variety of life stages who recognize the importance of community rooted in faith.
