Nursery

Children are a vital part of Sunrise, and we strive for excellence in every program we offer. The Sunrise nursery provides childcare for infants up to age 3 during our worship service and also during the Sunday School hour. The nursery is divided into two sections: Infant and Toddler.

Infant
Our Infant Nursery is for newborn to the walking stage. It is always staffed with two or more women who will lovingly care for your child.

Toddler
Our Toddler Nursery is for walkers through the age of 3 years. It is always staffed with two or more adults and a student helper, and features lots of toys and books to keep your little one busy!

Children's Worship

We know that little children may not be able to sit through the entire worship service, so we offer Children’s Worship during our worship service. After a short Children’s Message during the service, children ages 3-Grade 1 are dismissed with their teachers for a time of singing and prayer and an age-specific Bible story and activity.

Children should check in at the Sunrise Kids desk before the worship service starts. Children will be given a name sticker and the caregiver will be given a security sticker. At the end of the service, caregivers will need their security sticker to pick up their child at the Sunrise Kids desk.

Sunrise Kids

Sunrise Kids is a program for ages Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade, and is held each Sunday morning from 11am to 12pm.  Led by screened, trained, qualified and caring teachers, this program utilizes biblical curriculum along with theme-based Sunrise developed materials, and is a special time that’s designed to be fun and creative.  Each week, Sunrise Kids starts with a worship time. Kids then break up into age groups to hear stories from the Bible and participate in age-appropriate reflection activities.
